The principles of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) are part of the core values of the European Union, and the new and boundaryless HRW (Hybrid and Remote Work) environment has created increased concerns for a host of challenges, especially around inclusivity and discrimination. Since HRW is here to stay, it is necessary to develop new training programs and tools for professionals with HR and people management responsibilities in large organisations but also in SMEs that create awareness around the emergence of biases in HRW and provide them with the appropriate knowledge and tools to make HRW more inclusive, since previous organisational DEI practices might no longer be fit for the new world of work.
Objectives
ReWork aims at providing organisations with the support they need to mitigate the challenges coming from HRW and to support them to future-proof their organisations for DEI, by achieving the following specific objectives:
- Develop the DEI competences of individuals with people management responsibilities for HRW;
- Develop an attractive training programme and e-learning platform in line with the individual needs and expectations of both individuals with people management responsibilities and those from disadvantaged groups in large organisations and SMEs;
- Use participatory approaches in the design of the project’s framework and output to enhance relevance and immediate implementation;
- Use digital technologies in the design and provision of a cutting-edge e-learning platform empowered with AI and including an asynchronous digital coaching feature that personalises the training offer;
- Create effective training activities for the benefit of local communities;
- Cater for the needs of individuals with fewer opportunities by taking special care to include in the training program and e-learning platform;
- Support the competitiveness of large organisations and SMEs since inclusivity matters in the current era of great attrition;
- Create modern, committed and professional work environments with the upskilling of professionals and offer ready-to-integrate good practices, methods and tools;
- Improve management competences for an inclusive new world of work at local, regional, nations, pan-European and transnational level.
