Transnational Project Meeting in Berlin
Berlin, Germany. 19th September 2024
The 3rd transnational project meeting of the ReWork project was organised by Italienische Handelskammer Fur Deutschland (ITKAM) and took place in Berlin on September 18th and 19th, 2024. ReWork, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, is now in the third year of its lifecycle, entering in a crucial phase of its implementation.
All the project partners – Institut de Preparation a L´administration et la Gestion (IPAG) and Association Française des Managers de la Diversité (AFMD) from France; Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR) and Getafe Iniciativas S.A. (GISA) from Spain; Centre for Inclusion at Work (CEFI) from Greece; and Italienische Handelskammer Fur Deutschland (ITKAM) from Germany — were present in the event and had the opportunity to present and evaluate the progress made in the different work packages and respective activities.
In relation to activities already carried out, it is worth highlighting the sharing of a detailed analysis of surveys and workshops about hybrid and remote work (HRW), while ensuring Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), conducted in each country of the consortium partners. Those actions were carried out with the participation of local working groups and stakeholders of the ReWork project. In short, HRW has been positively adopted in all countries, however, the lack of training in HRW is generally remarkable. Furthermore, the preservation of strong social interactions in HRW environments is challenging.
For the coming months of the project, a detailed plan of activities was reviewed and refined towards the development of a toolkit for the project stakeholders to effectively manage DEI in their organisations; the design and delivery of a face-to-face training programme to be piloted in Greece and, then, delivered in all partner countries; and the adaptation of the face-to-face training programme, including open educational resources, to be hosted in an e-learning platform developed in the project for online training delivery. The stakeholders and target audience involves HR practitioners, middle managers, SME managers and leaders, and external VET providers such as trainers, learning designers, and academics.
